Intro to Aerial Circus

Join aerialist MJ Buscot and movement facilitator Felicity Horsley for a playful 4-week Aerial Circus class series at Zoe Dojo.
With a focus on aerial silks (and some optional time exploring the aerial hoop), you’ll build strength, flexibility and confidence while learning a range of foundational shapes.
For those with some experience, there will also be opportunities to explore intermediate moves and simple sequences.
These classes are designed as a welcoming and inclusive space for both beginners and those with some aerial experience. Its a chance to move, challenge yourself, and connect with others in a supportive environment.
MJ is (a French chef in desguise) has been sharing her extradoinary performances and teaching aerials in Tasmania for many years. She has a swiss army clock level body awareness since as long as she can rember- thanks to her cigar somking Russian ballet teacher.
Flicka Jane (a nickname from long ago) began teaching movement at the grand age of 12 while working at her childhood gymnastics club — technically child labour, but an excellent apprenticeship. She now specialises in bringing people together and creating playful, supportive spaces where bodies can experiment, connect, and remember that movement is inhearently joyful.
All proceeds from the series will go towards supporting more circus classes and creative movement opportunities at Zoe Dojo.
